Recently, across the world, women have become increasingly involved in conflict resolution processes. Although, in many conflicts women are either entirely excluded from peace negotiations or relegated to a ‘parallel’ track. This research project examines gender aspects in peace mediation, obstacles and challenges of their inclusion in peace processes.
