Since 2006, the Center for Peace Mediation holds seminars on Conflict Prevention and Management at the Training Academy for International Diplomats at the German Federal Foreign Office. These seminars provide an introduction to basic instruments of conflict analysis, interest-based methods of international conflict management and the design of peace processes and sustainable peace agreements. The participants directly apply these methods and instruments in interactive role plays and simulation exercises so as to experience their potentials and challenge their limits in the context of international conflict scenarios.
