Institution
The Center for Peace Mediation (CPM) was founded in 2008 at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) as part of the Institute of Conflict Management. The Center is a small interdisciplinary hub for practice-oriented research and research-oriented practice in peace mediation. Besides their work at the center, all team members pursue other scholarly or practical activities in various areas of conflict management and mediation, not least in other areas of the Institute for Conflict Management. In addition to Peace Mediation, the institute has three other core areas: Business, Judiciary & Society, and Scientific Institutions.
